VICTORIA BOWMAN EVENTS

Victoria was organising a black tie 50th birthday event at Bush Hall, London. She approached me to help with the 12 decorative wall posters. Her original idea was to find copies of newspapers from 50 years ago and enlarge the headlines where possible. Unfortunately, after some research, we realised this would not be possible so I designed posters highlighting various events through the past 50 years. The venue had mirrors and chandeliers so our aim was to design something striking but simple in black and white, whilst keeping the original newspaper idea.

The second project I assisted Victoria with was a series of table cards, also for a 50th birthday party. The client chose several key events from his birth year to use as the table names and I superimposed a cheeky baby portrait in with the designs.
